Update Linked Image (Right Click)

If you link to an image instead of the more normal embed then usually your intention will be to later use an updated image.

So you swap out the image and would like to update without closing the presentation.

How? There doesn't appear to be anything on the ribbon or right click menu to do this!

Eventually you might find File >> Info > Update Links

Then you can select the link and update.

Whew!

Way too complicated. This free AddIn just creates a right click menu.

REQUIREMENTS

Office 2010 or later (not the click 2 run version of 2010)

DOWNLOAD the installer here and run with PowerPoint Closed. Insert a linked picture and right click.
