It only really takes a few seconds but it is much slower than previous versions.

First
Locate the POWERPNT.exe file it os likely to be here
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14
Make a shortcut using RIGHT click > Send to Desktop
On the Desktop Right click the shortcut > Properties
After the target Add a space and then /s. Then drag the shortcut onto your taskbar.
