PowerPoint 2010 - Where Are The Fancy Transitions?
You open a presentation and cannot find any of the very smart new transitions, Honeycomb, Glitter, Flip, Cube and lots more are missing. What's going on!!!
Missing!
The Answer Is Simple:
You have opened an old ppt file created in an earlier version (or maybe set 2010 to save by default to the 97-2003 format) and the program is running in compatability mode for 2003. The new transitions won't play in 2003 so they are deleted.
Get Them Back!
Simply 'Save As' and choose PowerPoint presentation (*.pptx) as the format.
Hopefully they're back!
