Rip mp3 files from a CD

CDex can be used to add a RIFF header to mp3 files in order to embed them. It is also a great way to rip mp3's from a CD. Please respect your local copyright law!

Now make sure that you know where the mp3 files will end up or you may never find them. The setting is in Options > Settings > Filenames

Download Cdex and install it. With the CD in the drive and the tracks you want selected choose > Convert > Extract CD tracks to a Compressed Audio file (or press f9). To select several tracks use ctrl click.
